Grow in residue Soil moisture , zero cost ( Except only Seed ) , High Protein with less cost , Stover used as excellent Cattle feed . and a blessing for rural folk who difficult to afford Arhar and Green gram…. after processing it will cost around Rs 50 per Kilo …….Congratulation …. more to achieve …..

In an era of shrinking resources, climate change, increasing demand for healthier+nutritive food along with remunerative agriculture, it becomes important to intervene in the existing cropping systems seriously and purposefully. Grass pea could be one useful candidate in this. Dr. Gupta is working very hard and her research would definitely contribute significantly toward this. I am confident that Dr. Gupta and other ICARDA researchers would continue making significant contributions to livelihood upliftment in underdeveloped regions of the world.
